Open During Winter Break
School may be out, but DISCOVERY is IN! Come to the spot during Winter Break 2011. We're open during the two weeks surrounding the December holidays:
Wednesday through Friday, December 21, 22 & 23 AND
Wednesday through Friday, December 28, 29 & 30
from 1:00 to 5:00 pm
with dozens of hands-on science, engineering, art and technology experiences for school-aged kids, preschoolers and adults, too!

Please note the Museum will be closed on December 24 (Christmas Eve), December 25 (Christmas Day), December 31 (New Year's Eve) and January 1 (New Year's.)
the spot's low admission fee enables Prescott and Northern Arizona area families to visit this children's museum affordably and often, but is critical to our ability to keep our doors open for the community. Every cent of your museum admission goes back into exhibits, materials, and Museum operations.
Get complete driving directions from all over Arizona, including Phoenix, Flagstaff and Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. You'll also find a handy interactive street map and a map of our location inside Prescott Gateway Mall.
With exciting hands-on exhibits to explore, the spot museum has everything you need for a fun group event or field trip for up to 36 people, including adults and children ages 2 to 99.
Celebrate your child's birthday or plan any kind of special celebration at the spot! Contact our Celebrations Coordinator to book your hassle-free, value-packed and super-fun birthday party package!
the spot...a Child’s Museum tackles the topics of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and the Fine Arts (visual and performing) while embedding the history and culture of the area. These content areas are presented throughout the museum and overlap each other in the Museum's ever-changing exhibits.
