Recycle-Upcycle Books
During the first portion of 2010, we utilized the expertise of our then artist-in-residence, Ms Cathi Johnson, to work with children on using common objects found in the home to create their own masterpieces: wall hangings, sculptures, cards, and more. The CMA, Inc. believes it is our role to share insight with children about the environment and instruct them on becoming more conscious about their world. Promoting recycling in the home and upcycling many materials in the community can lead to a clean environment and bright future. There are many wonderful books for children that address these concepts and more are being printed each day. Check the library and bookstores for this timely topic!
