Monsters

Monsters and Fear

During and after October children are often concerned about the monsters they have seen during Halloween. This is not something that goes away quickly and may need to be resolved for some children. There are many wonderful books for children to enjoy about monsters and addressing their fears. Dealing with this emotion is a natural part of childhood. Talking about monsters offers parents a time to help teach their child critical safety rules.
