Judy Paris

Judy L. Paris, M.Ed. - President

Educator, Writer, Consultant and Museum Founder

Judy Paris has been professionally involved in the education field for over 35 years, as she has created and implemented programs that affect the education of all students. She has been a teacher, a mentor, and an administrator. Ms. Paris holds a BS degree in elementary and special education, and a M.Ed. in early childhood education and special education. She also obtained the supervisor, principal and superintendent certifications.

Ms. Paris was the 1996 Yavapai County Teacher of the Year, and a finalist for Arizona Teacher of the Year. She was an Arizona delegate at the Goals 2000 Teacher Forum in Washington DC and presented a research paper at the Oxford University Round Table, August 2002. She was invited to be an Ambassador of Education in South Africa, Europe, China, and the Soviet Union and trained educators for World Vision-Romania. She made presentations at education conferences, was a member of various professional organizations, and received numerous education awards.

Judy’s professional career spans a variety of areas to include the publication of classroom textbooks/workbooks and being recognized in a variety of Who’s Who publications. She was a teacher, an assistant superintendent, a special education director, a director of early childhood programs and a consultant to school districts. She worked as a principal and a superintendent prior to retiring from formal education settings in 2005.

Ms. Paris mentors and instructs young teachers through several university affiliations where she writes and instructs education courses in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. She writes The Arizona WestCor Malls Kids Club Program Shows and has recently provided consultation services for the American Board for the Certification of Teacher Excellence in Washington DC. She is independently contracted with Wiley Publishing, Inc. to develop the Certification Study Guides for elementary, special education and administration on a national front, with Pearson Publishing supporting school curricula, and with CurrTech Integrations providing professional development training to schools.

Judy’s expertise lies in the areas of leadership, program design and implementation, child development, educational services and family orientations. Her desire for all children to be allowed to play, to learn through discovery, to have appropriate educational opportunities and to experience the world around has led her to the creation of Children’s Museum Alliance, Inc.
