Tie Drive Contest Rules

1. Qualifying donations must be men's neckties. They may be pre-owned but must be clean, reasonably free of stains or visible wear, and of appropriate size.
2. To qualify, donations must be made during regular business hours or a special event at the spot... a Child's Museum. See website for details on hours of operation and special event schedule.
3. Drawing will take place at 3:00pm local Arizona time on Friday, July 31, 2010.
4. Drawing will be conducted and witnessed by at least two Children's Museum Alliance board members.
5. Limit one (1) entry per qualifying necktie donation.
6. No limit to the number of qualifying donation/entries per personEntrants need not be present at the time of the drawing to win.
7. Qualified entrants must provide a valid contact name, email address and phone number to winRecipient must pick up the prize in person during regular hours of operation at the spot... a Child's Museum, located at 3250 Gateway Blvd, Prescott, AZ 86303 inside Prescott Gateway Mall next to Dillard's on or before Friday, September 3, 2010.
8. Qualified entrants understand that by entering the drawing and providing their name and email address, they will be automatically subscribed to the museum's monthly eNewsletter and communication database. Subscribers can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
9. The museum will also accept donations of the following, as long as they are clean and reasonably free of visible wear: lightweight hemmed scarves; fabric or leather belts; shoelaces; skeins of yarn, soft rope, and ribbon. However, only necktie donations will qualify for entry into the drawing
10. Drawing is open to residents of Arizona, except board members of Children's Museum Alliance, Inc., participating volunteers, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, wholesalers, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each.
11. Void where prohibited by law.
12. All federal, state and local taxes, insurance, licensing, registration and title fees are the sole responsibility of winner/offer recipient.
13. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
14. No transfer/substitution of prize by winner permitted.
15. The recipient agrees to allow the Children's Museum Alliance, Inc. to use recipient’s name/likeness for advertising/trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
16. The Children's Museum Alliance, Inc. reserves the right to substitute prize/offer of equal/greater value.
17. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Children's Museum Alliance, Inc.
18. Not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, postage due or misdirected mail/claims, or for faulty, incorrect or mis-transcribed phone/e-mail transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind.
19. The Children's Museum Alliance, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest entry if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the program as determined by Children's Museum Alliance, Inc., in their sole discretion.
20. In the event a dispute arises with respect to the drawing and regarding specific individual entitled to receive the prize, Children's Museum Alliance, Inc. will be solely responsible for making a determination as to who the winner is in its sole discretion.
21. Participant may be requested to provide Children's Museum Alliance, Inc. with proof that the participant is the authorized e-mail account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account/submission.
22. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Children's Museum Alliance, Inc.
23. By accepting prize/offer, winners/offer recipient agrees to hold Children's Museum Alliance, Inc., and its directors, officers, volunteers and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of prize/offer.
24. Winner/offer recipient assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize/offer.
25. Children's Museum Alliance, Inc is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing, the offering or the announcement of any prize/offer or in the administration of the promotion.
26. AVAILABLE PRIZES/OFFERS, APPROX RETAIL VALUES AND APPROX ODDS OF WINNING/RECEIVING (UNCLAIMED/UNREDEEMED PRIZES/OFFERS WILL NOT BE AWARDED): Odds of winning will be one (1) divided by the number of eligible entries received at the time of the drawing.
27. The duration of the period in which the drawing is to be held is the sole discretion of Children's Museum Alliance, Inc. and not subject to notice of cancellation of discontinuance.
