With exciting hands-on exhibits to explore, the spot… a Child’s Museum in Prescott is an ideal destination for school field trips, social and organizational groups. Treat your guests – be they a parenting, church, family or school group – to exclusive use of the Museum and enjoy hours of exploration, discovery, creativity and imaginative play.
Teachers will welcome this opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom. Speak with one of the Museum’s experienced volunteer educators to discuss ways to incorporate the spot’s current and upcoming exhibits into their school curriculum.
Regularly open on Fridays and Saturdays from 1-5 PM, the spot… a Child’s Museum can be reserved for your group on nearly any day of the week. Contact the Museum’s group coordinator to reserve a date, discuss your group’s needs and see if your group qualifies to receive discounted Museum admission (regularly $3 per person).
Upon arrival, one of the Museum’s 100% volunteer staff will offer a brief orientation, then your guests are free to guide themselves through the spot’s engaging, developmentally appropriate and universally designed exhibits. They’re sure to find plenty to investigate and discover during their visit.
Your guests will come away feeling that the spot… a Child’s Museum is not just any museum; it’s their museum, their place of discovery!

Group Considerations:
You will work with our group coordinator to discuss your group and the museum's group guidelines in detail, but for your convenience, here are some things to consider about booking your group at the spot.
- A group is defined as 15 people or more.
- The museum space best serves a maximum of 30 people at one time, including children and adults. Please work with our group coordinator to determine if your group will be enjoying the museum at once, or in an open-house format in which the number of attendees will change during the event.
- There will be a required adult-to-child ratio for groups consisting mostly of children under age 6.
- A room rental fee will apply. (Please note: You must add the room rental fee to your cart if paying by PayPal.)
- A non-refundable deposit will be due at the time of reservation.
- Your group may qualify for reduced Museum admission. Ask our group coordinator for details!
- Your Group's final count and remainder of payment will be due 48 hours prior to your scheduled date.
- We have a generous cancellation policy: you may cancel up to 48 hours prior to group date, by phone or in writing.
Download our Group Guidelines, Group Agreement or School Group Agreement to review, fill in the fields and email it directly to our Group Coordinator. You can even secure your group's reserved date and pay the group's Museum admission through PayPal.
