Eileen Bond was born and raised in Burbank, California. She graduated from U.C.L.A. with a B.A. in Far Eastern Studies and a Master’s degree in Library Science. Her family moved to Phoenix in 1966 and she received her J.D. from ASU Law School in 1971. Her professional career included twenty years at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office before “retiring” and moving to Prescott, where she was in private practice with her husband, Jim Bond before being appointed as a Judge pro tem in 2005. Her legal specialty in child welfare matters has given her a great background for working with children in the community. Ms. Bond has been a CASA [Court Appointed Special Advocate] since 2000 and was recently appointed to the Board of Yavapai CASA for Kids. Ms. Bond is married to Jim Bond, also an attorney, and has two children and three grandsons – ages 6, 3 and 7 months. It was through bring her CASA child and her oldest grandson to the Museum that she developed a passion for our work.
