Father's Day - June 17 & 18
Celebrate Dad at our Father's Day celebration! Thanks to an anonymous donation from a generous family wishing to honor their own revered patriarch, all Fathers and Grandfathers will be admitted FREE on Friday and Saturday, June 17 & 18 from 1-5 pm. With paid admission of $3 for kids and other adults, children may participate in a special kids' art project-turned-gift for Dad. Celebrate the man who tirelessly played horsie and taught you to ride a bike at this special activity for families in Prescott, Arizona.
Mother's Day - May 6 & 7
Celebrate Mom at our Mother's Day celebration! Week of the Young Child - April 10-17
The Week of the Young Child (April 10th to April 17th) is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the nation’s largest organization of early childhood professionals. In honor of this year’s theme, Early Years are Learning Years, the spot…a Child’s Museum is holding its first birthday celebration at the Prescott Gateway Mall, a partner in supporting young children and their families. School may be out, but DISCOVERY is IN! Come to the spot during Spring Break 2011. We're open Wednesday through Saturday, March 16, 17, 18 & 19 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm with dozens of hands-on science, engineering, art and technology experiences for school-aged kids, preschoolers and adults, too!
Come celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss, beloved writer of whimsy and patron saint of silliness at 1pm on Friday, March 2 at the spot…a Child’s Museum. This special 2 ½ hour Museum event, featuring Kindermusik with Miss Kelly, will use music, movement and science to honor the innovator who taught us all to be our zaniest selves. Please note: This special event is scheduled in place of the Museum’s regular open hours on Friday, Mar. 2. Read on to get tickets and reserve your place at the party!

We encourage children to be conscious of the environment and think differently about how they can re-use, re-purpose and recycle the items they use on a regular basis. Help us by replenishing our supply of recycled items that children may then upcycle into artistic creations throughout the Museum. The spot...a Child's Museum needs a variety of clean and child-appropriate items kids can turn into robots, buildings, simple machines, art and more.
